graveyard...5!

GRAVEYARD
Notice of an itinerary change—
Well, shucks! You died. This might be a familiar experience for you, maybe not. Either way, you're probably feeling distinctly less dead now, with any injuries you previously obtained now healed. Grogginess still clouds your mind, but in a way that's reminiscent of waking up rather than anything nefarious.
... Not too unlike when you first arrived here, actually. Namely, because you wake up in what looks to be an airport terminal. Again! It's not quite the same as the one you were in before, but you're not free of airports yet, it seems. To be specific, you're in the baggage claim area, in the most literal sense: lying in an open suitcase on the carousel, going round and around (or, if you were unlucky, you might've tumbled out of the suitcase as it slid down onto the conveyor belt). You might want to hop off at some point.
If you're worried about your belongings, you can find them either on your person or in another suitcase chugging along on the belt. Once you retrieve everything, there's a new area to explore. Plus, reunions to be had with those who died before you, or with the four Hosts you haven't seen since the first week. And should you be worried about the living side, there are various screens around the terminal, allowing you to still watch what's going on over there.
► GRAVEYARD RUNDOWN
  • You are able to see the living (and their public network posts).
  • Weekly effects are still active.
  • Any personal items you didn't give away before your death are with you in the graveyard.
  • You can still use your curse items on the living, with the usual caveats of avoiding OOC inconvenience (e.g. no effects that would last into Thursday night).
  • The graveyard has its own set of NPCs (Maestro, Bora, Libeccio, Scirocco). You are no longer able to contact the living side's NPCs via audiences, but you can talk to the other four once again.
  • If you get injured and would like to be healed (within reason), the graveyard NPCs can heal to varying degrees, so feel free to handwave tapping them until you got one who could help you.
  • You may handwave the NPCs explaining the basics to you: you're alive again, but you're unable to regroup with the "living" side due to lacking a mode of transportation to the airport terminal where they are, and a barrier is blocking people from leaving the old-fashioned way. Trying to book a ride is a work in progress for the entire graveyard.
  • As of Week 4, the memshare effect from Week 3 remains.

Day: W6 Thursday
Recipient: Vi
Message Content: Are you all right? I saw you got sent on another trip, and really that's just the worst luck. I'm so sorry. We got Nanaki back over here safely, as well as Childe? It seems Boothill finally made it over there for you though, even if he isn't in great shape.

Things are all right so far, even if they're about as silly as I remember them being on this end. Talk soon, if you're able. But also REST! Let people take care of you.

- Rosamund

Object(s) Mailed: Stuffed cat plushie, Plum scented candle

Day: W6 Thursday
Recipient: Haru
Message Content: No need to apologize. After talking to Ylfa and learning a bit more about these other games, I can understand why these things have to get done. And you didn't try to go for anyone who wasn't able to hold their own against either of you, which is much more respectable than some other things that have happened. Manwol actually told me a prior letter of hers was gauging how I'd feel about something like that, but I didn't get to reply before I wound up over here. I might have done the same thing as you two, had I the chance to think it over.

Thank you for offering to help me out too, but I was actually going to ask if you wanted anything? People can't seem to stop cursing you! I'm out of sponsorships but we have really terrible smelling candles, send them to your enemies. I've taken the labels off. They better lay off, enough is enough!

- Rosamund

Object(s) Mailed: beautiful candles that seem normal but when lit smell like BARN MANURE, OLD CORN, and ANCIENT HORSE. The original labels have been removed but there are notes strapped to them with the scents.

Day: W6 THURSDAY
Recipient: BOOTHILL
Message Content: Gone so soon?

Well I'd have hoped you'd have found a way over without going through a nightmare. Are you doing all right? Childe is okay, we've got him in the clinic, though he's really confused at the moment. Waiting for tomorrow to see if his head clears a little.

I won't pry because it seems like it's personal, but it's hard not to think of Kate when you all came back as dark shadows. Keep an eye on Jonas too, will you? Tell him he doesn't have to write back to me, he's been through enough.

Miss you, and hope you've been horsed around with for the last time.

Day: W6 Thursday
Recipient: Artemy
Message Content: How could I begrudge them the biscuits? I'm glad you shared. I like everyone on your team anyway!

And I feel much the same about you. I might be used enough to death but I don't care to see anyone hurt regardless, especially not my friends. I'm sorry to have burdened you that way.

But we will be all together again soon, I promise. I'll save the rest of my sappy emotions for that.

Message Content: No, PIB doesn't sing like that. He has dignity.

At least no one was entangled in a terrible love quandrangle again? If there is a bright side to be taken. I'm sorry about your laundry bedroom. Maybe put a lock on the door so that no one else gets to use it unless they have your permission. Or they pay a toll? Perhaps that's just extortion. Nevermind!

I did see that Vi was on another trip, as well as Ace and Yoru. I'm sorry to see it, and I hope that they're going to heal up all right. Don't let them shoo you off from looking after them.

Also I understand that your own experience with worms was very bad, but consider all the good they do for the earth! Normal ones anyway. Big man-eating ones are a little less loveable, but maybe they just need to be rehomed. I don't know, nature is complicated!

Talk soon. Hopefully very soon. It's coming up on two months soon, isn't it? We'll be all together in no time. Give Hulkenberg my love as well.

Recipient: Seizaburo
Message Content: I think people are just out of hand because it's coming down to the wire and they need a way to take out the stress on someone. So, millions of curses it is. I do admit, this week's was a little funny. Who knew Yoru had such a lovely voice?

I'm glad you liked my recommendations! It's not much, but like you said, little bright spots?

It's coming up on the weekend, so as much as I'd like to keep it light, I have to wish you good luck. Stay safe, and keep a cool head. It's hard to do so on Saturdays, but I know you'll be an asset over there.

Take care,

- Rosamund
