BUS? A BUS???

The wheels on the bus (don't) go round and round...

You wake up on a bus.

It's a very nice bus, though. Luxurious, even! The seats are comfy and can be used as beds, with pajamas also available for you to change into. It's stocked with enough food and drink to last a week or so, along with a bathroom that also has a shower and free toiletries to use. The downside, however, is that apparently you have to share—as you're not alone when you awaken.

It seems like you're not where you should be, either. The bus comes equipped with TV screens, but rather than any movie or show, it's reality TV in the most literal sense. You might even recognize a few faces over there in the terminal, but either way, you can watch the participants go about their day. You're as equally confused as they are, after all, even if miles (?) separate you.

For that matter, that's pretty much all you can do. You're stuck on this bus. You can't access where the driver's controls would be, and there's no driver to begin with; in fact, the bus isn't even moving. The doors are shut, and any attempt to break the windows will send you bouncing back. Opening the shutters will treat you to the enticing sight of... outside airport scenery. You're on airport grounds somewhere, but you can't tell anything other than that. If you do some digging around, though, one compartment on the bus contains a random assortment of card games and board games for you to entertain yourselves with.

Better get cozy, because you might be here for a while.

Something like that. Last I heard, he escaped from prison there.

[ They are all victims to affection week. Lying on Wriothesley's lap would also be a big deal if not for the fact that it feels like lying on a hard rock.

Anyway, watches Childe get knocked out cold. ]

One of my dearest friends spent some time in prison, actually. So no, I wouldn't.

How very touching. Then yes, I confess, I've had my fair share of time spent behind bars.

[ He's so good at landing himself into trouble. Anyway, he's returning to his crossword puzzle while enjoying his hair pets. ]

And I'll take your word for it. It's only the start of the week... We have so much more to look forward to.

[ Like. Tuesday. Aventurine isn't even going to bat an eyelash at everything that happens on Tuesday. ]

I don't know what your schedule was like, but our Wednesdays were always eventful, whether it was parties or a tome to fetch, followed by Thursdays seeing a disappearance of friends before they'd reappear injured, and then Fridays were when the murdered bodies would be discovered.

[ A healthy, predictable schedule. ]

Saturdays, of course, were trials, and then Sundays were executions. It was all fairly organized.

Is that how it usually goes? [ clueless in two weeker. ] I'd say Saturday and Sunday were the same for us, though it's hard to draw many conclusions from a single instance.

[ wednesday, however, is two days away....... ]

For us, at least. I imagine there must have been variations for the other rounds.

[ Okay, this crossword puzzle is ass because the talkative bird was MYNA and nothing is fitting right and neither of them knows what a MYNA is probably.

Tosses the book aside. ]

I'm starting to feel a little stir-crazy confined in this bus.
