BUS? A BUS???

The wheels on the bus (don't) go round and round...

You wake up on a bus.

It's a very nice bus, though. Luxurious, even! The seats are comfy and can be used as beds, with pajamas also available for you to change into. It's stocked with enough food and drink to last a week or so, along with a bathroom that also has a shower and free toiletries to use. The downside, however, is that apparently you have to share—as you're not alone when you awaken.

It seems like you're not where you should be, either. The bus comes equipped with TV screens, but rather than any movie or show, it's reality TV in the most literal sense. You might even recognize a few faces over there in the terminal, but either way, you can watch the participants go about their day. You're as equally confused as they are, after all, even if miles (?) separate you.

For that matter, that's pretty much all you can do. You're stuck on this bus. You can't access where the driver's controls would be, and there's no driver to begin with; in fact, the bus isn't even moving. The doors are shut, and any attempt to break the windows will send you bouncing back. Opening the shutters will treat you to the enticing sight of... outside airport scenery. You're on airport grounds somewhere, but you can't tell anything other than that. If you do some digging around, though, one compartment on the bus contains a random assortment of card games and board games for you to entertain yourselves with.

Better get cozy, because you might be here for a while.

• The W0 weekly effect, once revealed, will apply to you as well.
• Your characters are able to see anything that takes place on the public mingles, including network posts, via the bus TV screens. You may also handwave them being able to see the initial notification that the players all received on their phones.

Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?

Hmm... both could be good for training, depending on what skills you'd be practicing with! I think I'd prefer a hundred duck-sized horses so I could work on my speed and accuracy.

I have to be if I'm going to keep up with the other members of the First Troop, and if I'm going to make Okita-sensei proud! ...once we have more space I'll really have to devote myself to training to make up for the days I've lost here...

You'd be more than welcome! Training with someone is always so much more productive than training alone.

We should get everyone involved. Nothing like building teamwork and trust than training together.

That's a great idea... I'm sure we've all got a lot of pent-up energy we need to work out after being stuck in here, too. Really, there are no downsides to a group training session once we get out!

If only everyone shared your enthusiasm and energy for a good workout.

Do you know many people who don't...? Most that I'm acquainted with do, but then, that comes with our job's territory...

I say a good number of people would prefer to sit around and relax instead if possible.

You don't ever get the urge to sit and do nothing for a little while?

Well... if I'm being honest, I don't always find it easy to sit still.

[ looks around at their bus surroundings. ]

Must be tough being in here then, huh.

A bit, yes. This is the least active I've been in years...

[frostfist]

[ parents up. is it still affection week? yes. he pats her on the shoulder again. ]

We'll find a way to get out of here soon. [ and they will in fact get out of here soon! ] And then once we do, you can run around as much as you'd like.

[feminitis]

[she smiles, reaching up to pat his hand while it's on her shoulder.]

I'll be looking forward to that. I'm sure it will be an improvement for all of us once we're able to get out and stretch our legs a bit, even if we don't all jump straight to working out.
