graveyard...2

GRAVEYARD
Notice of an itinerary change—
Well, shucks! You died. This might be a familiar experience for you, maybe not. Either way, you're probably feeling distinctly less dead now, with any injuries you previously obtained now healed. Grogginess still clouds your mind, but in a way that's reminiscent of waking up rather than anything nefarious.
... Not too unlike when you first arrived here, actually. Namely, because you wake up in what looks to be an airport terminal. Again! It's not quite the same as the one you were in before, but you're not free of airports yet, it seems. To be specific, you're in the baggage claim area, in the most literal sense: lying in an open suitcase on the carousel, going round and around (or, if you were unlucky, you might've tumbled out of the suitcase as it slid down onto the conveyor belt). You might want to hop off at some point.
If you're worried about your belongings, you can find them either on your person or in another suitcase chugging along on the belt. Once you retrieve everything, there's a new area to explore. Plus, reunions to be had with those who died before you, or with the four Hosts you haven't seen since the first week. And should you be worried about the living side, there are various screens around the terminal, allowing you to still watch what's going on over there.
► GRAVEYARD RUNDOWN
  • You are able to see the living (and their public network posts).
  • Weekly effects are still active.
  • Any personal items you didn't give away before your death are with you in the graveyard.
  • You can still use your curse items on the living, with the usual caveats of avoiding OOC inconvenience (e.g. no effects that would last into Thursday night).
  • The graveyard has its own set of NPCs (Maestro, Bora, Libeccio, Scirocco). You are no longer able to contact the living side's NPCs via audiences, but you can talk to the other four once again.
  • If you get injured and would like to be healed (within reason), the graveyard NPCs can heal to varying degrees, so feel free to handwave tapping them until you got one who could help you.
  • You may handwave the NPCs explaining the basics to you: you're alive again, but you're unable to regroup with the "living" side due to lacking a mode of transportation to the airport terminal where they are, and a barrier is blocking people from leaving the old-fashioned way. Trying to book a ride is a work in progress for the entire graveyard.
  • As of Week 4, the memshare effect from Week 3 remains.

Who's Christ? I don't think I know them.

Nothing terribly significant on this end, though. We're talking things out and trying to come up with ideas on how to help you all from here, but so far, I don't think we know much more than you do. No sign of the horse, either. As far as the pointless stuff--Yoru and Mr. Gunman attempted some kind of code break, and they were stuck talking like horses for a while. That doesn't compare to Vi turning into a horse and nearly trampling me to death earlier today, though! (It's Tuesday, by the way.)

Anders is in love again. I'm starting to think I shouldn't take his three-year promise seriously. (I'm joking, of course.) Let's see... oh, Essek turned into a worm today, too. What's with all the animal curses? I don't think we had this many, did we? I know we made a lot of silly drinks. I was hoping there would be some way to emulate that for an achievement, but I haven't figured out how yet. Maybe you should drag everyone over to hell and get them to drink? Might as well try it while you can visit, right? Haha.

Did you have a good party? Don't forget to eat. I'll write you every day to remind you if I have to. That's a threat!

To the magnificent Princess Kate,

I hope it pleases you to know that things are just as ridiculous over here as they are for you all. Curses, silly gatherings, dramatic public confessions--it's really not too different from your side. I'd say the main difference is that we have a concerning number of strange places to eat and sleep. I don't know why. I suspect whoever built this place didn't do a lot of traveling... I could've given them some pointers.

I miss you too. I'll spend the next few weeks bracing myself for your scolding, but it will be worth it to see you again. Things are changing in very strange ways, but I won't give up so easily. I know you won't either.

If you saw it all, then you know what happened! I'll admit that I could've planned my timing a bit better, but you can't deny it was going alright until then. It wasn't the most dignified of deaths, so I can't say I'm thrilled to know you were watching it all, but I imagine you would've been even angrier if you'd woken up to the news, so I won't complain too much.

I imagine you're still mostly irritated with me, but even so, I'll assure you that I'm doing fine here. It's true that I'm not as useful on this side, given that many of us over here share similar mindsets, but I don't intend to slack off. A weapon is no good if it can only be used in a single battle, and we're still in the middle of a war.

I already have to brace myself for Kate's ire when I return, and I see I'll have to prepare for yours too. It seems a little unfair that you'll have all this time to contemplate vengeance, don't you think? If you feel any lenience at all, don't let Scaramouche slander me too much while I'm gone.

Ahaha, don't worry! It's nothing important.

Yes, I'm getting along fine. I heard fthat you were at the school with her--there are more of you here than I thought! I wonder why? Do you think writing a story of some kind might count towards an achievement? Manwol just keeps talking about biting.

To be honest, I was mostly thinking of it from a technical standpoint--two dead killers seemed like it might've been a headache, especially when it ended the way it did. But I do appreciate the sentiment. As you know, I don't have the best experiences with "justice," but havnig someone so honest and determined is on our side is reaassuring even to me. I'll pass on your greetings, and we'll keep working on this side too.

I can't decide if I'm concerned to hear you say that, or if I want to know more details immediately.
