BUS? A BUS???
The wheels on the bus (don't) go round and round...
You wake up on a bus.
It's a very nice bus, though. Luxurious, even! The seats are comfy and can be used as beds, with pajamas also available for you to change into. It's stocked with enough food and drink to last a week or so, along with a bathroom that also has a shower and free toiletries to use. The downside, however, is that apparently you have to share—as you're not alone when you awaken.
It seems like you're not where you should be, either. The bus comes equipped with TV screens, but rather than any movie or show, it's reality TV in the most literal sense. You might even recognize a few faces over there in the terminal, but either way, you can watch the participants go about their day. You're as equally confused as they are, after all, even if miles (?) separate you.
For that matter, that's pretty much all you can do. You're stuck on this bus. You can't access where the driver's controls would be, and there's no driver to begin with; in fact, the bus isn't even moving. The doors are shut, and any attempt to break the windows will send you bouncing back. Opening the shutters will treat you to the enticing sight of... outside airport scenery. You're on airport grounds somewhere, but you can't tell anything other than that. If you do some digging around, though, one compartment on the bus contains a random assortment of card games and board games for you to entertain yourselves with.
Better get cozy, because you might be here for a while.
RUNDOWN
- This will be your one mingle post until next Friday.
- You do not have any personal belongings on you. Unlike the other players, you also don't have a phone. Sad.
- The W0 weekly effect, once revealed, will apply to you as well.
- Your characters are able to see anything that takes place on the public mingles, including network posts, via the bus TV screens. You may also handwave them being able to see the initial notification that the players all received on their phones.
- We will have a small, pseudo-mini-event for you on W0 Wednesday at 12pm PST/3pm EST.

Artemy was one of them actually, which I'm sure makes him even more thrilled to be in this mess.
[ looks at how wrio is our 2 weeker... ] Guess your experience was pretty different, huh.

[ he is slowly beginning to Learn as their lone two weeker. (face_holding_back_tears) ]
But yeah, it was. For one thing, we didn't really have to kill each other. [ much. ]

[ wrio you got this man. ]
No freak possessions or other things that made people go crazy and kill? What happened to your group then?

[ fun times!! ]
But otherwise it was mostly a lot of watching people die in new and different ways every day.

[ love fun effects. ]
Every day? That's a bit overkill...

[ why was his experience different..... ]
Wish I could tell you why ours turned out the way it was, but we never met any of the people behind it.

[ both are bad. ]
Can't be liable if they stay anonymous, I guess. Ours wasn't exactly people, more like a giant alien monster... I'm still processing it.

goodbad!! you know what else sounds bad? a giant alien monster. ]Maybe I don't mind the rabbits and moles after all.
[ they were quite friendly...... ]
What do you think about the whole auditing thing? I can't say I like it, but it smells like typical upper management to me.

[ can't wait to see what horrors are to be faced here. ]
It sounds like an excuse to put us all through this again. [ smells like BS!!! ] And who knows how much of what those guys are telling them is true. With Artemy and them, they're brains had been messed with and affected what they could and could not talk about.
[ makes a sour face. hateful. ]

Their what?

Their memories had been tampered with and they were all missing different things. [ he holds his right arm up, pulling the sleeve of his jacket down. from shoulder to fingertips, it's prosthetic and pretty sick looking. robo arm... ]
They'd been dealing with the mess before we'd even gotten there, things just got progressively worse once we arrived. [ bc ofc they did. ]
no subject
I'm sorry to hear that. [ genuinely. ] Did you ever manage to resolve the mess?
no subject
No worries. [ nods ] We did. It took eight weeks, but we eventually figured out how to return everything back to normal. Now we can come and go as we please, the crew included.
I imagine we'll have to do something similar to get out of this mess. It's gonna come down to both sides working together, for us to go back home.

Seizaburo said something similar, but unless there's some way of communicating with the other side to let them know we exist I'm not sure how that's going to happen.
no subject
I imagine that'll come eventually, it'll just be a matter of how. Though us being here from the start does make it more complicated. I just hope it's sooner rather than later...

[ huh. ]

[ there is some sarcasm on the last two words because he doesn't think any of this should be happening to begin with!! ]
