BUS? A BUS???
The wheels on the bus (don't) go round and round...
You wake up on a bus.
It's a very nice bus, though. Luxurious, even! The seats are comfy and can be used as beds, with pajamas also available for you to change into. It's stocked with enough food and drink to last a week or so, along with a bathroom that also has a shower and free toiletries to use. The downside, however, is that apparently you have to share—as you're not alone when you awaken.
It seems like you're not where you should be, either. The bus comes equipped with TV screens, but rather than any movie or show, it's reality TV in the most literal sense. You might even recognize a few faces over there in the terminal, but either way, you can watch the participants go about their day. You're as equally confused as they are, after all, even if miles (?) separate you.
For that matter, that's pretty much all you can do. You're stuck on this bus. You can't access where the driver's controls would be, and there's no driver to begin with; in fact, the bus isn't even moving. The doors are shut, and any attempt to break the windows will send you bouncing back. Opening the shutters will treat you to the enticing sight of... outside airport scenery. You're on airport grounds somewhere, but you can't tell anything other than that. If you do some digging around, though, one compartment on the bus contains a random assortment of card games and board games for you to entertain yourselves with.
Better get cozy, because you might be here for a while.
RUNDOWN
- This will be your one mingle post until next Friday.
- You do not have any personal belongings on you. Unlike the other players, you also don't have a phone. Sad.
- The W0 weekly effect, once revealed, will apply to you as well.
- Your characters are able to see anything that takes place on the public mingles, including network posts, via the bus TV screens. You may also handwave them being able to see the initial notification that the players all received on their phones.
- We will have a small, pseudo-mini-event for you on W0 Wednesday at 12pm PST/3pm EST.

Not sure I've ever seen faces like those before.
[ why do they look Like That? ]

The ones from Scawwy just wore masks. This is new.
no subject
We just had rabbits and moles.
[ anyway, holds out his bag. popcorn? ]
Though they were about as helpful as these guys seem to be.

'Scawwy'?

[ Not that he was there long before being sent to fucking Silent Hill!!!! ]
You mean to tell me you didn't have any supervision during your trials?
no subject
It was just us left to our own devices. Though we weren't there for very long to begin with.
no subject
How long were you there?
no subject
About two weeks? The days started to blur together after people kept dying.
no subject
[ THEY HAVE THOSE? ]
Try eight weeks.

...the way these faces look is new to me.

Is this your third time doing something like this?
no subject
Technically, it's the fifth, but one of those times I was asleep until the very end of it all.
no subject
what the fuck. ]
No wonder you seem so calm about all this.

[ because after five rounds of whatever this is, he thinks she deserves it. anyway. back to the tv screens!! the bit about auditors catches his attention. ]
Were things like that in all your previous [ still has no idea what to call them ] experiences? Wishes, timelines, milestones?
no subject
In some sense, yes. The hotel was more of a fulfilment of a contract, so I wouldn't necessarily say it falls under that, but I'm no auditor, so maybe they have a different definition. [she crosses her arms, considering...] But the very first one I remember, the person who won our competition used a wish to bring us all back to life.

Were you forced to fight as part of the competitions?

Artemy was one of them actually, which I'm sure makes him even more thrilled to be in this mess.
[ looks at how wrio is our 2 weeker... ] Guess your experience was pretty different, huh.
no subject
[ he is slowly beginning to Learn as their lone two weeker. (face_holding_back_tears) ]
But yeah, it was. For one thing, we didn't really have to kill each other. [ much. ]
no subject
[ wrio you got this man. ]
No freak possessions or other things that made people go crazy and kill? What happened to your group then?
no subject
[ fun times!! ]
But otherwise it was mostly a lot of watching people die in new and different ways every day.
no subject
[ love fun effects. ]
Every day? That's a bit overkill...
no subject
[ why was his experience different..... ]
Wish I could tell you why ours turned out the way it was, but we never met any of the people behind it.
no subject
[ both are bad. ]
Can't be liable if they stay anonymous, I guess. Ours wasn't exactly people, more like a giant alien monster... I'm still processing it.
